Sadly, we have to announce that there will be NO Cast are Dice event in 2008.
This is mainly due to the venue putting up the prices by a huge margin for the second year running, claiming that they were making a loss on the event, despite the fact that we paid the staffing costs, etc ....
Basically, we'd have had to up the ticket prices to £25 for the weekend to make the event possible, and that would be assuming that the numbers went up again! Plus ... we would not have been able to buy/blag enough free games for all the attendees - A feature that we really loved last year, and hoped to keep going.
However ... all is not lost, as we are working on The Cast are Dice 2009. This will need to be in a new venue but, because of that, we may be able to change the time of year for the event.

All discussions about The Cast are Dice (who came last year, who's coming back next year, what games you played, where you stayed, etc...) can now take place here at the The Cast are Dice Guild on BoardGameGeek!
