Silly game.
We now split into two groups .....
(Contracts + Workers + Workshops + Bonus Tiles + Gems)
Nick:
(60 + 40 + 5 + 10 + 1) 116
Simone:
(27 + 40 + 5 + 20 + 2) 94
Sue: (45 + 40 + 0 + 0 + 3) 88
Richard: (21 + 40 + 15 + 10 + 1) 87
Rachel:
(24 + 40 + 0 + 0 + 2) 66
This was a lot of fun, and a little trickier than we all expected it to be! A lot of planning is involved, and then other people come along and mess up your plans! I concentrated on the "big" contracts, which gained me enough points for the win.

This looks like a pretty tight game. All I know is that Leisure spent most of the game in crisis, and - thanks to that - everyone had a whole bunch of leisure tokens!

A fun little filler which we hadn't played for a while.

This was a very close game of this new hit. I was in trouble after having the pirates destroy one of my palaces (my own fault for not leaving a house, really). But it could have gone to any of the top three as the last ship unloaded (mainly onto Richard's island!)

And the upstairs group ended the night with this great economic game, although they almost broke the whole game by buying their own shipments!
And that was it for another week. Sorry about the brief report, but I've got a lot of translating to do!
