Just the nine of us in the shop this week .....

The first five in were quick to get this one going .....

This is always a fun opener. For once we all managed not to get a negative score, although it was a close thing!
This new one had just arrived, so the five of us decided to give it a go while waiting to see if anyone else was coming ....

This was a lot of fun. It's a pretty simple game, but quite clever in the way it works. There's a great bluffing element as the player on your right tries to decide whether you've chosen the card that he wants to play, and a lot of laughs/groans as you all realise that no one or everyone has played a certain card! We all really enjoyed this one.
Andy and Rich arrived in the meantime, and went off with this one ....

This was the first time we'd played with the full 8 players, and therefore also the first time that we'd had three characters from each side in the game. I was the first to die, despite revealing my vampiric tendencies and healing myself a couple of times, the hunters ganged up on me and Rich finished me off from the woods. Next to go was Darren, and then Mike died while trying to find someone to kill and give him a solo win. After that, it had become pretty clear who was who (unless someone was taking some massive risks with Allie), and the hunters focused on removing the shadows as quickly as they could .... which was pretty quick.

This was Mike's first game, and David's second (but first using the cards). Darren, Sue and I have had a fair bit more experience, and this is one of those games where it always tells. Another fun game, though .... I can't see myself ever tiring of this one.
While we were finishing off our farms, a couple of quickies went on upstairs ....

A good close fight between Andy and Rich, with Rachel just edging out the two teams that had no one controlling them.
