This is an interesting new game from the guy who makes (almost) all of the Cheapass Games, but this one has had the full Rio Grande treatment!

Rome is falling, and the players - as rich Roman Patricians - are gathering everything they can and getting the heck out of there before the you-know-what hits the fan.

A Goth figure starts at the top of the board, and the players all start in Rome. By using their wealth to erect buildings or to bribe the Goths, the players head South, all trying to get as far away from Rome as possible.

The game ends when someone gets to Africa or the Goth reaches Rome.

A clever resource-management system and a great theme make this one a treat.
