This is the Kris Burm "replacement" second game in the award-winning Project GIPF series of two player games. In 2007, Kris decided that Tamsk did not really fit in with the rest of the series, and so has replaced it with this one.
For people that love to play Chess or abstract games, this is the series to invest in. All of the games in this series are incredibly well regarded and very popular, not to mention great-looking! Tzaar is a "capture" game, with each player trying to remove all of the other's pieces from the board.
