This game was a pretty big hit at Spiel '08 in Essen, and it has finally made it over to the UK.

Players place tiles to build districts along the banks of the river Arno in Pisa and then send their Merchants out to trade with the four great families of the region.

Once a region is complete, the Merchants placed there earn cash (with the richest player being the winner at the end of the game).

This game will remind a lot of people of Carcassonne, as you play a tile and place a worker, and it also plays very well with two players and takes about the same time.

However, scores in this game are very tight, and it is often one small decision in the game that will swing it in your favour.
