Heckmeck Junior
Designer: Reiner Knizia
Publisher: Zoch Verlag
Players: 2 to 5
Ages: 5+
Time: 15 minutes
This is the children's version of the excellent dice game Pickomino (or Heckmeck am Bratwurmeck if you prefer).
While the original is not overly complex in the first place, this one is aimed at smaller kids.
The six dice all feature ingredients (worms, ketchup, buns, cucumber, etc ...) and on each turn, you place all of one ingredient to one side, or choose to stop.
You must have a worm to claim a tile, but then all ingredients are worth 1 each (apart from the buns ... they are worth 2).
The tiles are numbered from 4 to 8 and each appears twice ... And when there are no more to claim, you can pinch one from an opponent!
A fun game for kids aged between 5 and 8 or so.
This game comes in a German box, but Zoch's English rules are included as standard.
