This is a stand-alone expansion to the evil little deck-building game Nightfall from AEG.

There are exactly the same number of cards in this one as in the original, although this one features all sorts of new powers and exciting new starting minions.

And The Coldest War also introduces a whole new mechanism: Moon Phases! This will globally change the game, according to the back of the box!

This box can be combined with the original Nightfall, but you can also play it by itself if you don't own the original.
