Awakening the Bear! - Russia 1941-42 is set - unsurprisingly - in Russia during World War 2.

The Germans had defeated Poland, France, Denmark & Norway, and over 3 million German soldiers invaded Russia and were headed towards Moscow.

But then winter hit with force and the cold drained the Germans' resources, strength and morale, and slowly the momentum began to shift ... The Bear had awoken!

This is the first in a series of excellent war games, designed to be easy to learn and fun to play, with a lot of actions taking place simultaneously, reducing the down-time between turns.

This second edition features all-new artwork, more units, and firefights! Containing five 15" x 19" mounted map boards, over two hundred 1" square counters, fifty-five action cards ... and much more!
