This is a purely economic game, with each player controlling a nation and trying to become as wealthy and prosperous as possible.

Negotiate and trade with the other nations, manage your food, energy, ore and labour supplies as well as you can, watch the prices fluctuate throughout the game, and - while you are doing all of this - keep a close eye on your rivals to make sure they aren't getting too far in front of you!

This is a great example of an economic game of supply and demand, as prices rise and fall depending on whether players are in need of the various commodities.
