This is Martin Wallace's 2009 re-working of his classic game Age of Steam.

Although no longer bearing the "Age of Steam" name, this is still the game that all AoS fans have been waiting for!

Players build their railroads, upgrade towns, improve their trains, and deliver goods, having to make the tricky decision about whether to add to their income or victory points with each delivery.

If you're a fan of the original, or perhaps a fan of Railroad Tycoon, then you will love this one.

The game comes with a double-sided board, featuring the US & Canada on one side, and lower Rhine & Ruhr region of Germany on the other.

Also included are player pieces for up to 6 players, as this game can be played on any number of current and future variant maps.

If you've read our comments on the Age of Steam page, then you'll know that this is - in our opinion - the "morally right" version of the game, and the one that we strongly recommend!
