This is the "new for 2013" 2nd edition of this great game of shipping and trading around the Mediterranean.

Players build a fleet of ships, then buy, ship and sell goods around the Med, always on the lookout for what the other players are up to, as piracy is always a possibility.

This is a great example of a "pick-up & deliver" game, with a lot of stuff to think about each turn.

For those that know the 1996 original, there are several changes in this new version:

- Bargaining has been removed in favour of a flat fee;

- Bidding for turn order has been replaced by each ship having its own turn order number, so they act in that order each round;

- Different combat rules, different prices for things, simple combat rules ... and much more!
