Number 12 in the Alea "Big Box" Series of games, and this is the third in a row from Stefan Feld, and another hit. The players start the year with a couple of small palaces and two workers, and will do well to end the year with anything more than that! After a couple of months of peace, the bad news starts pouring in with Famine, Drought, Disease and Taxation all about to strike (a couple of times each!). This is a game where you're going to get stung ... you're just trying not to get stung as badly as everyone else. If you like to watch people suffer, this could well be the game for you! Another excellent Alea/Feld combination and - like Notre Dame - this one probably clocks in at about 20 minutes per player.
