This war game - unsurprisingly, I suppose - covers the Spanish Civil War, which ran from 1936 to 1939 and was the prelude to World War II.

The game lasts for 19 turns, the first four of which cover July to October 1936, and after that each turn represents two months.

The game is a two-player fight between the Republican and nationalist forces and uses an interesting "Morale Scale" which provides the determination for victory or defeat.

Another excellent war game from the masters of the genre.
