In this excellent tile-laying game, players are trying to build the best homeland possible and populate it with as many Vikings as they can. Buy the right combinations of tiles and Vikings (at the right price, of course), then somehow fit them all into your homeland, and you'll be on your way to winning this one. Keep your islands protected from the ships and make sure you have enough fish to feed your warriors (very important, that bit!). The basic rules of the game are tough enough to do well at, but once you've mastered it (ha ha), you can introduce the advanced rules and the special bonus tiles! Great stuff ....
