This game was a new release, and a very big hit, at Essen 2006. Based on the best-selling novel by Ken Follett, all players are trying to contribute to building the most magnificent Cathedral that 12th Century England has ever seen. Using their Master Builders and their workers (both large and small), each player is out to collect the necessary materials (which is cheaper than paying for them at the market) which will help them do just this. However ... the King can increase prices and taxes whenever he feels like it, and there are yet more ways that your plans can be sabotaged.

This is an excellent game of resource management, and the player who uses his time, craftsmen and gold the most efficiently will come out on top.
