This game (originally known as Jenseits von Theben) was deservedly nominated for the Game of the Year 2007, eventually losing out to Zooloretto.

It's an excellent board game themed around archaeology: Making finds and putting on exhibitions around the World.

The longer you spend at a dig, the more you'll be sure to find (you would think!), but the less time there will be for other things!

Planning and a little bit of luck are essential in this fun game, which is still - after several years - one of the best-made games in all of the ones we have available.

This is the 2013 printing, which now comes in Queen Games' standard "square" box.
